In-service training for internship places

On May 30, 2023 and June 1, 2023, within the framework of the Erasmus+ UKROTHE project, 2 trainings "Involvement of occupational therapy student interns into the organizations that provide educational, social-medical, rehabilitation and psychological support services" were held for specialists in the Charitable Foundation "Caritas of Sambir-Drohobych Diocese" in the city of Drohobych and Medical Rehabilitation Center "Modrychi". The event was held with the financial support of the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program.

The trainings were attended by specialists from practice bases for students who are interested in involving student occupational therapists in their activities. Among them were practicing occupational therapists and professionals who work in social, medical and rehabilitation centers, but are not yet familiar with this specialty. The participants had the opportunity to better familiarize themselves with the specialty "occupational therapy", the ways of involvement of occupational therapists and a detailed list of areas in which students of this specialty can be involved in practice.

The trainings aroused great interest among the participants to involve occupational therapy specialists in their activities in the near future.
